I still remember the happy day when we met Sophie as she bounded up the stairs into the Church House and immediately peed on the new PCUSA rug!! 😂

Oh my gosh, I had forgotten about that! But every time I am reminded of what Sofie did, I can’t help but to chuckle. Was that her commentary on the denomination? Maybe she was a Baptist dog? 😉

Thank you for your message on this election night. My husband and I decided not to follow the election returns tonight, as we usually do, and to watch an episode of a series we like and go to bed without the anxiety of the returns filling our thoughts. I like the idea of growing grace where we are and focusing on a life of love. And that puppy! How adorable! Our four legged friends center us and give us unconditional love. I look forward to more stories and pictures of him.

Nancy, I just love how the Spirit works. I didn’t intend on an “election fatigue” video. It just sort of fell into place. I actually sat down in front of the camera late yesterday afternoon. When I went to share the news of the new puppy, I just thought, how a cuddly pup would make folks smile. I can’t wait to share more with you. Blessings to you and your husband. The elections might be over, but now the work of repairing harm on all sides needs to begin.
